Day 28: Phase 1 Complete

Well, today I finished Phase 1 of P90X. It has definitely been a tough four weeks but I'm happy to say I can already feel the results. I'm clearly in better shape than I was four weeks ago. Other than my arms looking a little more cut up, I don't see a lot of physical changes yet . However, my girlfriend says she can see a clear difference and that I'm looking very...never mind. I'll keep that one for myself.  Phase 2 starts tomorrow and I get to try some new workouts. It's going to be nice to mix it up a little bit because it does get a little boring doing the same workouts over and over.

Phase 1's last workout was the Stretching X. Although not glamorous (i.e. producing big muscles), anything related to increasing my flexibility is what I need the most. As you can see in the photo, I am Mr. Inflexible. I'm using my cherished stretching strap and you can see, I still have a long, long way to go to reach those big toes. Surprising, during yesterday's 90 minute Yoga X, I did almost touch my toes by the end of the workout. That might be because we had a cold hit South Florida today and I wasn't sweating that much. Yesterday was a scorcher, and I was raining sweat.
