Day 17: Light Weight

Today was the third round of the shoulders and arms workout with a beautiful ab ripper workout thrown in at the end. The workout sheets that show the prior week's reps and weight for each of the 15 exercises came in very handy. I was able to select and adjust weights more quickly allowing me to keep up with the workout. I hate to hit that pause button. This week's rule of thumb was to go light so I could concentrate on executing perfect form and max out around 15 reps. Using lighter weights produce a leaner look while heavy weights give you bulk. I used 20 pound weights for most of the shoulders and 10-15 pounders for the bicep and tricep exercises. In this post's picture, I'm only using 10 pounders to do the shoulder flys. It may look easy but my shoulders are on fire.
