P90X introduced a new workout today called Core Synergistics. Although this workout focuses on your core muscles (abdomen and lower back), it was also a great total body workout. The workout was difficult but not as hard as I expected. This is recovery week after all and P90X supposedly doesn't push us as hard. I would have vehemently disagreed if you'd asked me while doing 60 seconds of the Towel Hoppers in the photo.However, I must say, if I had only one workout to perform, I'd choose Core Synergistics. It's early evening and I can still feel today's workout in every muscle of my body. I'm not in pain but I do have that pleasant ache that lets me know my body is getting stronger. I'm starting to see the changes in the mirror also.
