
As I said last week, P90X is an extremely difficult program and of the 7 different workouts I've done so far, Yoga X has by far proven to be the most difficult for me. Heck, I can push and pull weights all day long. Weights are hard, but I love 'em. Unfortunately, when you ask me to bend, stretch, balance, and breathe
while trying to clear my mind, I'm a disaster. However, it's P90X's emphasis on on yoga and stretching (2 to 3 of each week's 7 workouts) that give this program added credibility in my book. I hate Yoga X but I
need it and I
will keep doing it.
Note: I am using a yoga block to help me maintain the pose in this picture because don't yet have the flexibility to put my right hand on the floor. By using the yoga block, I can achieve the pose (kind of) without putting undue stress on my lower back. Yoga blocks are one my of my favorite pieces of exercise equipment and they're inexpensive.
Editor's Note: My sons were delighted to inform me that my head looks like a giant penis in this picture. Of course they didn't comment on all of my hard work and dedication.
