Day 48: Boom Boom Pow

Oh, baby! Tonight I had that boom boom pow during my Kenpo X workout. I was on fire. I felt so good walking upstairs after the workout that I started to feel guilty and asked myself if I'd pushed myself hard enough. The answer was, yes. I kicked butt during every routine until I was wiped out. However, I am getting into such good shape, my recoveries are almost immediate. Try punching for 90 seconds straight like I'm doing in the video. That is one exhausting routine but I felt like new again within 30 seconds. I got that boom boom pow, baby!

Earlier today, I finally flipped my rubber flooring over and put three strips of heavy duty duct tape over the seams. On a 8'x16' floor consisting of 2'x2' interlocking tiles, that required over 300' of tape. In other words, that sucker is solid. After taping the floor and flipping it right side up, I did my Kenpo X workout and didn't see any splitting on the tiles. That makes an anal retentive man like me very happy.

Tomorrow's Stretching X working concludes my seventh week of P90X. Next week is recovery week so I get to change things up a little with two Stretching X's, two Yoga X's, two Core Synergistics, and a Kenpo X. It's gonna be fun.
