I did a late afternoon P90X leg and back workout and I hit it hard. This workout has lots of squats and lunges and they make my legs burn with that muscle-growing pain. In this photo I am shaking a leg and trying to get rid of that precious burn. It's easy to switch to autopilot on these workouts after you've done them over and over and forget to push yourself. Therefore, I try to stay focused and give it my all. The burn is just a indicator that I'm doing what I need to be doing and not wasting time.As I get more and more days of P90X under my belt, the workouts are becoming more mental and less physical. As Tony Horton constantly reminds me on the P90X DVD's, you have to get your mind right. Now that I've passed the halfway mark, I need to hit the gas a little harder. I really need to push myself even harder if I am going to get the results I want. As I've said in past posts, I feel significantly healthier but any physical changes have been relatively modest.
It's time for me to shake a leg.
