I only have a few more things to do before my garage is finished. This weekend, I'm flipping the rubber flooring and applying heavy-duty duct tape to the seams and then flipping it back over so the tape is on the bottom. This should prevent the floor tiles from pulling apart (bugs the Hell out of me). I'm also mounting plastic peg board on the wall so I can hang all my bands, clipboards, and some small tools. Finally, I am waiting for a 4' pull up bar to arrive (sigh, back ordered) and install on the ceiling. When I'm all finished I'll make a video and give you the grand tour. I really enjoy my home gym and am even thinking of dropping my LA Fitness membership since I seldom go.
Tonight's workout was plyometrics. Now that I am wearing tennis shoes and working out on the rubber flooring, I no longer am experiencing any knee pain, thank God. Plyo is still the hardest workout but it is really helping me get back into shape so I can jump again. I actually think I may be able to play basketball soon and hit those boards for some serious rebounds.
